A great attitude
A successful theater production requires a lot of hard work and dedication. While we want every student to play a part in the show, if you are unable to attend every rehearsal, you may not be cast in a leading role. If your child has missed a rehearsal, they are expected to check in with the stage manager / group members to learn any blocking or choreography they may have missed.
Not all students will be called to every rehearsal. The process of creating a theatrical production is a collaborative effort that requires everyone’s dedication and commitment in order for the show to be a success.
For this reason, cast members will not be permitted to miss more than 4 rehearsals. Production staff should be notified a minimum of 24 hours prior to absences. In the event of an emergency or illness, please contact the director via e-mail immediately. The first week of rehearsals and the last week of rehearsal (tech week) are mandatory.
Tech Week: Tech Week Rehearsals will be Monday, April 2nd to Thursday, April 5th from 3:00pm to 6:30pm. ALL cast and crew members are required to attend tech week rehearsals in its entirety.
